Casa Sunburst

I’ve stayed in other houses before and had a very good experience, so I’d return to Palmetto Bay, but I’d rent somewhere else. Sunburst House is right across from the beach, which is a good location, but the house itself is in poor shape. The beds are smaller than Queen size, the air conditioners are damaged and don’t cool, the house has leaks, and neither the kitchen toaster nor the electric grill works. There’s also a rule limiting AC use to 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. None of the three bedrooms has a bathroom. The two bathrooms are shared, one upstairs near the bedrooms and one downstairs. The doors don’t lock, so there’s no privacy. When I arrived at 3 p.m., as scheduled, the house was dirty and the cleaning staff didn’t finish until 7. Their attitude was bad, too. They provide towels and soap but almost no toilet paper, just four rolls for five people for a week. When I asked the cleaning lady to sell me more, he offered to sell me a trip to go buy it.
