The hosts were warm and friendly, and the studio was comfortable with everything we needed. Bus 17 makes getting around easy: one end of the route is about 100 metres from the house, and the other stops by Pile Gate in Dubrovnik’s old city, so we didn’t need the car. There’s also a spot high on the hill, about 200 miles away, with a great view over old Dubrovnik for photos.

The pool was lovely, and the hosts were so kind and helpful. They even offered us water, beer, wine, homemade liqueurs and pastries. The rooms are spacious, and parking is free and easy here, unlike in Dubrovnik, where it can cost up to 10 euros an hour. An Uber to old Dubrovnik is only around 7 euros. It’s a 1.3 km uphill walk from the city centre, or a 4 km drive.

A nice break from the busy city. Our apartment was clean, fresh-smelling and well equipped, with everything looking new. The hosts were incredibly welcoming. Thanks for the tasty homemade liqueur and vegetables from the home garden. I recommend staying at Villa Martinović!

The view over the old town from near the cliff is magnificent, and it’s good value for money. The parking area has a roof made of plants. The bus stop is a one-minute walk away, and taking the local bus to and from Dubrovnik is better than driving.

The room was nice and the price was low, but the bathroom was shared and there was no shampoo. There was one bottle of expired FRUTELLA instead, haha. I only stayed one night. The balcony was nice, and it’s 15 minutes from the historic centre.
