Villa Haya

The sea view is lovely, though the sea itself is 15 km away. There’s good potential here, especially for larger groups, teams, or big families booking together with similar routines. But couples and small families may not find it a great fit. We could hear chickens, children, or other guests leaving as early as 6am, and if you want privacy and quiet, you may be happier somewhere else. The owners seem to have good ideas and intentions, but some things need attention: the toilet smell needs fixing, smoking should be banned on the shared terrace and by the pool, and there should be clear rules or times for using the garden grill. The microwave needs to be in the kitchen, not just shown in the photos. It’s a decent place to sleep, but there are a few things to work on.

We had a great three-night stay while exploring Krk. The ocean view was beautiful, and our rooms were very clean and newly furnished. The employee was extremely helpful and friendly. We could also watch some lovely chickens on the neighbouring property from our window.

The staff were very nice and helpful, and the location, though a bit out of the way, has a nice view that would be even better from one floor higher. We spent three nights in two different apartments for two people. Both were nice, clean, and basically equipped the same, though one had a better layout and a walk-in shower. The small details kept it just short of five stars. There was no shower by the pool, parts of the ground were very slippery when wet, including the stairs, and there was nowhere to lie flat. The shower in the first apartment was definitely too small. There were no insect screens on the windows, the salt was sticky, and there was only one trash bag. A rooster and hens right behind the bedroom window made for noisy mornings. Aside from the missing insect screens, these things were almost negligible, so I’d still give it a very good four stars.

Everything was perfect for a trip with family or friends. The children had fun in the pool, which is for adults too. We had an amazing vacation.
