Villa My Koltrina

Booking this place turned into a very frustrating experience. I booked the villa through Booking and had to pay right away. Just an hour later, the owners asked me to cancel, saying it wasn’t worth renting for one day at that price, despite having offered it on Booking. I contacted Booking, and they told me the reservation had been cancelled because of a supposed double booking. Booking looked into it and found that explanation was false. Thankfully, they handled things professionally and found me alternative accommodation that was even better, for just 10 euros more. The people managing this villa were very unprofessional, irresponsible and dishonest. Be careful when booking!

Senad is a wonderfully kind and friendly owner, and we enjoyed his company. The villa has everything set up well for two families, with lots of space and three inviting terraces that almost make you want to stay in. Still, Istria is far too beautiful to miss, and we hope to come back. The outdoor area is fantastic, especially the enormous pool. We visited in the fall and enjoyed the hot tub, but I can imagine how lovely it would be to spend time outside here in summer. Villa my Koltrina feels both luxurious and cozy.

Set outside the village, this holiday home has everything for an active break and works well for one or two families. There’s a huge outdoor pool, sports facilities, a luxurious jacuzzi and a new sauna. A beautiful place with extra amenities, highly recommended!

There was plenty to do indoors, even though the village is a little off the beaten path. We played table tennis and darts in the basement, used the sauna and indoor whirlpool, and had Netflix, Disney+ and other TV options. It was too cold for the huge outdoor pool, unfortunately. The house was clean, spacious and warm thanks to the underfloor heating, and all the windows had mosquito nets. Senad and Jasna were incredibly friendly and attentive when we contacted them. We enjoyed our stay, especially the comfortable beds and the cozy, well-equipped living space. We couldn’t think of anything we missed. Thanks to both of you, and maybe we’ll see you again.
