The pool area was fantastic, with clean surroundings and very comfortable loungers. There were parasols too, and when I asked for more, the host went out and bought them the next day. There’s also a gym and sauna on site. We were able to walk downhill to the seafront in about 10 minutes, and Cavtat harbour was 15-20 minutes away. There were plenty of taxis around as well. We found this accommodation under the name Family Zvrko. The host arranged a €20 airport transfer for us, about 10 minutes away, and picked us up at the terminal with the car waiting just outside. They gave us local recommendations and directions, and we could reach them by phone during our stay. Our top-floor apartment had a west-facing balcony, lovely for the view and sunsets. It was clean, tidy, comfortable, and had everything we needed: a hob, fridge, kettle, and microwave. There were slices of watermelon waiting in the fridge when we arrived, and a charcuterie platter was left for us in our second week. The WiFi was good in the apartment. Tommy Supermarket is just across the very busy main road, handy for breakfast, lunch, snacks, water, and cold drinks. Can’t recommend the place enough.

The host was very friendly and helpful, and the apartment was nice and clean. We also had towels for the beach and a nice view toward Dubrovnik. There’s a shop with fresh bread, meat, and cheese just two minutes away. The walk up from the beach is steep, which is why I’ve given four stars, but it only took us 15 minutes. Hope to come back.

We’ve been coming to Cavtat for over 15 years and have tried a few other apartments, but we keep returning to Zvrko. It feels like our second home, and the Zvrko family have become friends over the years. They can’t do enough for you. The apartments are beautiful, the pool is just perfect, and there are plenty of clean towels and bed linen. Their restaurant Konoba Ivankovi in the village is a must for traditional Croatian food. Five stars from us xx

The living area is big and the beds are lovely and roomy, really comfortable. We booked for the views, but be aware that the two-bedroom apartment has a shared balcony.
