A lovely, relaxing place with nice owners and a pool, barbecue area and great views from some rooms. Our clean, spacious room was simple, with good air conditioning and hot water. It’s about six minutes on foot to the beach and 15 minutes to Cavtat center, but there’s no nearby shop, so bring snacks and drinks from town. The bus stop is close to the hotel, though the walk back is quick but steep. There are more than 20 steps up from the street to the hotel.

Guesthouse Villa Bellevue has a charming feel and is peaceful and very clean, a nice place to unwind. We especially enjoyed the inviting pool for a refreshing swim. The beach is popular, but the pool gives you a more private, convenient option. You can relax by the pool or enjoy the beach, so there’s a choice of both.

Our room was spotless and had everything we needed, including a fridge and kettle. From the balcony, the view down to the sea is great. The pool area is lovely, with plenty of sunbeds and incredible views, and the outdoor kitchen has everything for making a meal, including a barbecue. We got a great welcome and lots of useful information, maps and directions for the bus station, seafront, Dubrovnik and supermarkets. Fantastic.

We really enjoyed the lovely, quiet location and the pool was a blessing. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the beach and village. The hosts were amazing. Heather and I will go back with our kids!

Everything was fantastic, though I wish the pool stayed open until 20 instead of closing at 19, since you have to come back earlier to use it. We were surprised to find they clean your room while you’re out. One day we came back to a clean floor and fresh bedsheets, which was nice.
