Apartment Gitara

That little balcony, with its table and two chairs, was a lovely spot to spend an evening over a glass of wine. We were very pleased with our week here. The apartment was clean and the bed comfortable, and the people looking after us were friendly and professional. We even received fresh towels after a few days, which isn't always provided in an apartment. We used the airport shuttle; the driver brought us to the apartment and explained what we needed to know. The old town and the port and main bus station were each about a 20-minute walk away. A really good price for the location.

The terrace was a highlight, with a lovely view and a table and two chairs where we could eat. Inside, the room was quiet and the bed was good, and the host was friendly and happy to explain the city and things to do. The shower could use repairs, or perhaps replacing with a regular one. It took us around 20-30 minutes to walk to the old town walls. We didn't request these, but salt, sugar and oil in the kitchen would be useful for guests staying two or more days who want to make breakfast. This was in June 2018.

The owner’s brother, who lived next door, was especially friendly. The apartment was clean when we arrived, with a comfortable bed and a nice balcony, and nights were very quiet. We stayed for a week and walked about 20 minutes to the Old Town, so there was no need for a car, taxi or bus.

Shops are close by, so we didn't need a car. It was about a 20-minute walk to the old city and around 15 minutes to a fantastic beach. Fantastic place.
