The old town location has upsides and downsides. You can step outside and be close to everything you want to see, but it’s crowded right at the door. Getting into the building was easy enough once I received instructions, though they didn’t arrive until I was already at the property. I booked through booking.com and stayed three nights. The room was not clean when I arrived. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned properly, and there were muddy footprints on the floor, so I cleaned the toilet myself with soap and toilet paper. The property apologized when I contacted them, saying they had checked but might have missed it, and sent the cleaner the next day. That second clean still wasn’t done well: a piece of toilet paper I’d left on the bidet from cleaning the day before was still there. They mopped only the muddy-print area. By then I’d given up. I expect accommodation I pay for to be clean. Otherwise, I might as well stay in a hostel.

The flat blends modern touches with old-world charm, and I loved opening the windows to hear the bustle outside. Its amenities are top notch, and the location is hard to beat, right in the heart of Dubrovnik with easy access to all the hot spots. Pile Gate is also a convenient meeting point for day trips and tours. I highly recommend staying here if you’re coming to Dubrovnik.

The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated, and everything feels very new. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large, and it had basically everything we needed. It’s right in the middle of the city and fairly easy to reach without climbing stairs. Parking is cheaper outside the center at Dubrovnik Daily Parking; from there, you can take an Uber and walk the remaining 5-8 minutes.

The room was modern, very clean, and had a large, comfortable bed. It’s right by the main street, very centrally located.
