Apartment Ranieri

The apartment is extremely well located, and we were out most of the time, but I found the price very high for the quality of the place. We paid 1,080 euros for three people for eight nights in August 2017. The photos made it look much better. I hope things have improved since then, as our stay was two years ago. The woman who met us was a friend of the owner, who didn’t live in Croatia. She was very nice, took time to tell us about Dubrovnik and its main attractions, and gave us good advice. The air conditioning worked very well, and the living room, with its three couches, was bright. Dubrovnik and the surrounding area were great, so the holiday itself went well. The separate bedroom was always dark and stuffy because we couldn’t open either the shutter or the window. The cupboard was crammed with a big mess, including extra sheets and pillowcases that needed ironing. The mattresses and pillows were dirty and stained, with no protectors under the sheets and pillowcases, and there wasn’t enough space for our clothes. There were no hangers or mirrors, some electrical outlets felt very insecure, and the small bathroom had no curtain to keep shower water from flooding the floor. Those details left me feeling that the owner didn’t care much about guests’ comfort and treated the apartment as an easy way to make money.
