Apartments Aurelia

Maria greeted us warmly, even with the language barrier, after we accidentally wandered into her living room because the entrance wasn't clearly marked. The apartment has a terrace out front and a small balcony upstairs. It was nicely renovated, with two levels, and even had our first washing machine. It's basic but comfortable, and sits right across from the city tower in the wall. All three Old Town gates are close by, so we'd recommend it.

We were welcomed so warmly by Ines, who was attentive and friendly throughout our stay. From the balcony, the Adriatic Sea, the old city walls, and minceta tower opened up in a beautiful panorama. Apartment Aurelia has tasteful decor and a prime spot in Dubrovnik, which made it a memorable place to stay. It seems well suited to a solo traveler or a couple. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely Dubrovnik retreat and a taste of Croatian hospitality.

Maria was especially lovely, and she speaks good English. The apartments are uphill from central Dubrovnik, but still well placed and good value. In the first floor apartment, the bedroom is ample, and the bathroom and private balcony are both a good size.

Great spot, and the host was kind and ready to help. The apartment is small but has the basics you need.
