Apartments Life

The view was what really amazed my boyfriend and me. We spent four nights here while visiting Dubrovnik, and the apartment was a great place to come back to: modern, spacious, spotless, and comfortable for a couple. It was quiet, with no street noise, and the air conditioning and Wi-Fi were excellent. Great value for the price.

Having a private parking space was a real plus, and the view is superb. The apartment is quite large, with two adjoining units forming a duplex. We walked down to Dubrovnik in about an hour and took a taxi back up for €25. A few practical things were lacking: no dishwasher and not much cutlery, though we managed. The Wi-Fi was unreliable unless we stayed very close to the router. It was also noisy, especially when the metal chairs were moved or someone knocked on the neighboring apartment. A bit of a shame.

We chose this place on the outskirts so we wouldn't have to deal with parking problems, and there's a bus stop less than five minutes away for getting into the city center. It sits on a hill, though, and the slope up to it is steep. There's no washing machine either. When we arrived, the owner's mother handed over the keys and we did the paperwork later. Since it was vacant, they put us in a superior apartment. It was spectacular, very large, fully equipped, and spotless, with private parking. Everything was fantastic.
