Apartments Villa Dadic

If you prefer to stay away from Dubrovnik's busy downtown streets, I'd recommend this place. The hosts were very welcoming and made things easy and enjoyable for us. The apartments are at the end of Bus route 3, so getting to the old town is straightforward.

We only stayed one night at Villa Dadić while visiting Dubrovnik, and came across it by chance. We were really pleased with the accommodation and got a warm welcome from the host. The new villa was comfortable, and everything in the apartment was organised and ready for guests. The information booklet was useful, and the views over the port and nearby islands were beautiful. There's a large parking area behind the building. Although we had a car, we followed the hosts' advice and took an Uber to the old town. It worked well, since parking there is very difficult, and the drive is short. We'd highly recommend Villa Dadić.

The rooms were really nice and clean. There were four of us, so two people had to sleep in the living room. The single small air conditioner couldn't cool the whole apartment, and the bedroom stayed hot. There was no shade on the porch, so sitting out there during the day wasn't possible.

The view makes the walk down to downtown worth it, though be ready for a workout if you go on foot. Our room was clean and had all the basics. It felt a little pricey, but Dubrovnik in general seemed expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Local delivery services apparently aren't very keen on serving foreigners, so we really appreciated them ordering food for us and sorting out the payment.
