Apartments Villa Kosović

The view over the Old Town really made the stay, and the apartment’s location was ideal. We were there for two nights, and found it clean, cozy, and comfortable. The owner was great too, helping with our luggage and suggesting places to avoid. We should’ve taken his advice right away. I’d definitely come back.

Be aware if you’re bringing wheeled luggage, this probably isn’t the easiest place to stay. The apartment is self-sufficient and has good views of the sea and old town just below. Most people should manage the walk down to the old town, and there’s a zigzag route as an alternative to the stairs, though it still has a few steps.

The apartment has a lovely view, is close to the old town, and is well equipped. The host was very nice. Getting there means climbing a lot of steps, and parking your car is inconvenient.

It’s about two thirds of the way up the hill, so getting back from near the Cable car stop means tackling 250+ steps, a proper cardio workout. Still, for a reasonable price, I got a clean, easy-care apartment with plenty of space and good equipment. The bedroom has a double bed, and there’s a double sofa-bed too, so three people could stay comfortably. Risto and his wife made me feel welcome, including when I arrived later in the evening. They were helpful throughout and communicated well beforehand about airport transfers and the different costs. As one of my first solo adventures around Europe, this place gave me a great start.
