We found this apartment by chance, and it turned out to be a great choice. The hostess was very friendly. She spoke only limited English, but our Polish and her Croatian were enough to communicate easily. She even gave us homemade wine and rose liqueur and picked fresh figs. We had brought Polish souvenirs, including alcohol and sweets, which came in handy for making friends. The apartment was clean and well equipped for four people, with a terrace looking over the garden and harbor. There’s free parking about 50 meters away, said to be the only free lot in the area, with a hop-on hop-off bus stop right beside it. The stop for bus number 6 to the center is about 250 meters in the other direction. You can buy tickets at the Tisac kiosk or from the driver. If you’re traveling by car, there’s a gas station with good prices just behind the parking lot. For food, the Orsan yacht club is about 300 meters away, with an excellent restaurant of the same name. We recommend the fish and seafood, and booking a table ahead is worth it.
