Bokun Guesthouse is beautiful and well cared for, and Tony was so friendly and helpful. The pool area is great for a lazy day, and there are plenty of quiet spots in the garden to relax. Breakfast was lovely, with something nice to start the day.

The guesthouse is in a fantastic, peaceful spot near the marina in Dubrovnik’s Gruz area, a real little oasis. Our rooms were clean and had everything we needed, and breakfast was good. Tony suggested a boat trip, which was amazing. He and his wife were so helpful and friendly, and gave us great advice about the area. Magdalena, the housekeeper, deserves a special mention too. She was very friendly and always busy. We had an amazing holiday at Bokum guesthouse and definitely hope to return soon.

It really is a peaceful haven in Dubrovnik. Our three-year-old son loved every minute, from the garden and swimming pool to the owners’ kindness. Amazing stay with an amazing family.

Bokun Guesthouse was a lovely, quiet, very green place to stay, a hidden gem and almost like paradise. The pool was a real favorite, and breakfast was a great start to the day. Toni was friendly and always happy to answer our questions. The location is central between Lapad and the Old town, easy to reach by bus or on foot. The rooms were good; the bathroom felt a little too small for me personally, but for an old building it was very good.

The rooms are on the small side, but have what you need, and you probably won’t spend much time in them anyway. The location is very central, with a bus stop nearby to get around Dubrovnik. Walking works too, just be ready to go up and down a few times. Through a little street you come to a beautiful, romantic garden, where Toni, the owner, greets you with useful, straight-up information about Dubrovnik and possible trips. I’d recommend this place if you want to explore the city and have somewhere peaceful to come back to when it’s too hot.
