The owner is a charming lady who speaks English and German. There’s no breakfast, but if you ask politely, you can have tea or coffee on the balcony, with a great view over Dubrovnik and the sea. The accommodation is nice for a stay and a good night’s sleep, and not too far from the Old City. Parking is available, but you need to reserve it when booking. Really recommended, five stars.

The host was very friendly and polite, and the rooms were clean, though not very big. It’s about a 12-15 minute walk to the Old Town. The bathroom is equipped but small, and the internet was a bit weak in the room. The view of Dubrovnik is great, but only from the living room. It can get a little noisy if other guests are around, since the kitchen, hallway and living room are shared.

Mariya's place was a good budget option, and having a parking space was a definite plus in this area. The lady was kind and welcoming, and the basic room and bathroom were clean and well equipped. There was no view from the room, the Wi-Fi wasn’t great, and privacy was seriously lacking. It’s a 15-minute walk to the City walls, all uphill and down stairs, of course. Thanks!

For one or two nights it’s okay, but I’d recommend looking somewhere else. The place is quite far from the center, and you need a car or motorbike if you don’t want to walk. It was hard to tell whether it was hotter indoors or outside, and the air conditioners didn’t work well.
