B&B Apartments & Studios Lanii

A lovely small hotel inside the city walls. The host was very accommodating, and they also run a nearby restaurant, which was handy for questions and luggage storage. It’s far enough from the main street that the area still feels like a neighborhood.

The rooms looked recently updated and were nice, and the cold AC was AMAZING. It was easy enough to reach, with fortunately not too many stairs while carrying our bag. We did have trouble finding it at first since it’s beside the Lanii restaurant, but the owner replied quickly by text. The number code for the door was convenient, and everything downtown was close. The downside was how much noise came through: a big gap under our door let us hear workers unloading things in the morning and people arriving late, which woke us several times. The AC helped make up for it. No one came to clean the room on either day, so keep that in mind.

The kitchen and washing machine were really useful, and the price was amazing. It’s in a top-notch spot in Dubrovnik old town, yet wasn’t too loud despite all the activity around it. The top-floor studio could have used a more detailed clean, but that didn’t bother me much.

There was water in the room and some tea, which was nice to have. Finding the room and opening the coded door were easy. It’s right in the old city, about a three-minute walk from the parking lot outside. Pack light, though, because there are stairs to climb in the old city.
