Hotel Kazbek

What made our stay at Hotel Kazbek stand out most was the hospitality. The staff were warm, helpful, and always went the extra mile. Shout out to Mato and Atune for being so kind. The food was superb from breakfast to dinner; breakfast is offered daily from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. if you choose that option, and it's worth it. With only about 13 rooms, this hotel in Dubrovnik's Marina area feels intimate and peaceful, away from the busier parts of town. Our room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The quiet pool at the back was a highlight, and the charming pool house was open from 1 p.m. to around 6 p.m. I can't say enough good things. If you get the chance to stay at Hotel Kazbek, don't hesitate, it's an experience you won't forget.

Loved the intimate feel and how the room was laid out. There are lots of places to sit: by the pool, out on the terrace or in the front yard, at the coffee tables inside, or in the restaurant. Just one small thing, the indoor restaurant isn't especially fancy looking. The breakfast and food are good, though. A fantastic place to stay.

We were kindly upgraded to a room overlooking the inner courtyard, which added to the calm feel of our stay. The room was elegant rather than dated, more comfortable and carefully designed than we'd expected, even though it wasn't especially large. The pool was another lovely spot, peaceful and well maintained after a day out exploring. The building has a real sense of history: it was once the summer residence of the Zamanja family, one of Dubrovnik’s noble lineages, and you can still see that character in its architecture. The hotel combines that heritage with comfort in an authentic way. A good fit for anyone who appreciates subtle elegance and a strong sense of place.

Traditional but luxurious, this hotel sits across from Luka Gruz in Dubrovnik. The moment you step off the street into the courtyard, it feels peaceful.
