The pool was in great shape and cleaned daily, and we enjoyed using it several times. The shared outdoor terrace was spacious, pleasant to relax on, and kept clean each day. Inside, our apartment was spotless and well maintained, with a compact kitchenette that was very well equipped. It had a coffee machine, toaster, microwave, plenty of cutlery and pots, plus coffee, oil, salt, and pepper. We could also use the washing machine free of charge, which came in handy, especially after a beach day. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The hosts spoke perfect English, were available 24/7, and were always friendly and helpful. They replied quickly and with care whenever we had a question or request. There was chilled water and a bottle of wine in the fridge when we arrived, a lovely touch. The one drawback was the thin walls. The building could be noisy at night, especially when other guests came back late from the old town. A simple sign in the hallway asking people to keep the noise down late at night could help. We had a fantastic week at California Apartments in Dubrovnik. With the attentive hosts, cleanliness, facilities, and atmosphere, I'd rate it 9 out of 10 and would absolutely come back. Highly recommended.

Maria went out of her way to make our stay a good one. She was one of the best hosts we've had. The rooms were clean and updated, and everything was nice. The walls were thin, and we were unlucky to have noisy neighbors partying. Maria stayed on top of it and apologized, even though it wasn't her fault. We liked being able to walk quickly to a convenience store and a small bakery for breakfast. We brought breakfast back and ate outside on the shared terrace. The pool was clean, and the stone walls were beautiful. All in all, a lovely stay.

The location made getting around simple, with shops and restaurants nearby and an easy short bus ride to the old town. Our apartment was quiet and spotless, and the pool was lovely. Maria welcomed us warmly and was incredibly helpful with local suggestions. Highly recommend.

We made good use of Maria's advice during our stay, and her detailed welcome covered nearby facilities and deals she'd arranged for guests. Now I understand why so many reviews mention her. The rooms were clean and lovely, the sofa beds comfortable, and the air conditioning among the best I've experienced. The apartments are within walking distance of the lively, upscale new town centre, with plenty of affordable restaurants, and a short, frequent bus ride from the famous old town. Thanks so much for making our stay in Dubrovnik a joy!

Lapad's pedestrian area, with its bars and restaurants, is only a five-minute walk away, and the bus to the Old Town takes about ten minutes. Marija was so friendly and made us feel welcome when we arrived, with detailed tips on the area and attractions. The apartment was comfortable, very clean and fully air conditioned, and the swimming pool was lovely. We had a really nice stay and highly recommend it.
