Hotel D-Elegant Dubrovnik

The rooms are clean and modern, and there’s a lovely beach about a 10-minute walk away. This is a wonderful hotel outside the old town, its main attraction. Best of all, city traffic connections are excellent, with a stop just 20 meters from the building. Breakfast could be more substantial.

I couldn’t relax and just wanted to get out as soon as possible. The room was very dirty, with dust, stains, and a horrible strong smell as soon as I entered. It felt as if nobody had cleaned it for weeks. The bathroom was even worse, unhygienic, badly maintained, and disgusting. They didn’t provide basic things like slippers, which I’d expect at any hotel, especially for what we paid. The whole place felt neglected, as though guest comfort and cleanliness didn’t matter. This was one of my worst hotel stays, a huge disappointment and not worth the money. I strongly advise others to stay away.

We had a serious incident when an automatic door malfunctioned and involved our son. Hotel management accepted full responsibility and resolved it fairly without charging us. Their professionalism and integrity turned a stressful situation into a positive experience. The location is beautiful, the rooms were clean, and the staff ultimately showed real care. The food was excellent, and the staff were very nice. The accommodation was as good as I expected, too. The location works well, with the beach 5-10 minutes away on foot and the old Town about 15 minutes from here.
