Guest House Gugily

The hostel was clean, the staff were kind, and it's only a few minutes' walk from the Old Town. My main issue was the noise, especially with shared toilets. If people don't follow the rules, you hear everything. Younger guests who slept in the day and partied all night made it hard for me to rest, with loud music and talking carrying through. Otherwise it's a nice place if you don't need your beauty sleep 😂

The location is good and the rooms are okay, but the cleaning was a real problem. During our three-day stay, we didn't see the common areas cleaned. Dirty laundry piled up in the shared bathroom, even though someone must have come to change the bedsheets. After the first day there was little cleanliness left in the bathroom, the kitchen bin was full, and someone kept leaving dirty dishes in the sink 🤦‍♀️. The pictures speak for themselves. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

Guest House Gugily, Dubrovnik: there's a high risk you may not be able to get into the property.

We stayed in the attic, which was very good. The house is about a 70-meter walk from the entrance and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two rooms have double beds, while the third has two singles. The kitchen is small and opens into the living area, with an electric stove but no dishwasher. Parking is generally expensive and hard to find in Dubrovnik. There's a car park right beside the house, but it charges a lot.
