There are lots of amenities at this fantastic villa, including a great pool, and everything is well maintained and equipped. The construction work mentioned in some other posts seems to be finished. A new stone promenade along the coast by the villa has just opened to pedestrians, with some nice restaurants along it. Several supermarkets and bakeries are close by, and the fish market is a 5-10 minute walk away. Bus stops for lines 6 and 9 are 100m from the villa, with service to the Old Town and public beaches.

The villa and pool are beautiful, but don't book here in the coming months! There's a lot of noise from the building site right next door. The owner doesn't seem to care and wouldn't compensate us or arrange another place to stay. We couldn't sit outside, and every morning at 7.00 am we woke to loud drilling that carried on all day until sunset. Horrible!

Construction next door was very noisy, from 7am until 6pm, so relaxing in the beautiful garden was impossible. The host and owner hadn't warned us beforehand. You'd be better off not booking this villa in the coming year.

The villa stays cool and refreshing, with air conditioning in every room. The kids spent the whole day having fun in the pool. We also enjoyed eating outside, and once indoors the traffic was barely audible. It is a noisy area with lots of traffic, though. Bus number 6 stops about 50 meters from the villa and takes you to the old town, then drops you off right by the villa on the way back.

The pool and villa looked lovely, but the noise from the construction site next door made it impossible to enjoy the place. Work went on from early morning until early evening!!! I understand that construction happens, but the owner could have warned us beforehand. Either way, I wouldn't call this force majeure.
