Kate welcomed us so warmly. The place was clean, with a lovely terrace view, a comfortable bed and good WiFi. It was reasonably priced, and I'd definitely recommend it. By car, it's about 25 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the port if you're arriving by ferry. The Old Town is 10 minutes away by car or a 25-minute walk. Thanks for having us.
Mario and Kate greeted us with a warm welcome, plus a few beers and water. They were kind enough to mark all the points of interest on a map. Their place is about a 20-minute walk from the Old City, and the route along the water is really pretty in the daytime. The room was clean, though a little small. My only gripe is the free WiFi: it worked in their apartment, but the signal was very weak outside.
Kate was the warmest, most welcoming host we could have hoped for when we stayed with her in September 2012. The accommodation was excellent value, and we'll definitely stay with her again on our next trip to Dubrovnik.
Kate is a perfect host, and the apartment is lovely. It's on a quiet, peaceful street within walking distance of the Old Town. A fantastic place to stay in Dubrovnik, highly recommended.
