Getting there on foot from Lapad beach takes a bit of effort: the place sits higher up, so there are steep stairs, or you can take the longer way through narrow zigzag streets. The neighborhood was very quiet at night, and I liked the view of Lapad bay. My room was tidy and came with AC, a fridge, a desk, and a large cabinet for my things. The bed deserves a special mention, it was excellent.

The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed, with a beautiful view. I was especially grateful to the host on arrival: my bus was canceled on the first day, so I didn't get there until close to midnight, but they patiently kept the door open for me. Everything was perfect.

It's a nice, inexpensive place, though there are lots of steps to get to and from the apartment. Uber is available around the clock.

The owners were nice, and the views were amazing. It's near all the things you need. Parking is the downside, there aren't many spots.
