Madonna Guest House

The apartment was small but laid out well, with nice fixtures and furniture. It was clean and tidy, parking was good, and the owners were helpful. We enjoyed the scenic 25-minute walk to the old city and had a great stay.

Do not stay here. We booked through Air BnB a month ahead and arrived last night after a 27-hour flight, having paid more than €1000 for the week. Atina told us the apartment had been given to somebody else. The host had known for weeks and hadn't told us before we arrived. Instead, the host took us to a windowless shoebox room in another apartment block, with no offer to adjust the price or compensate us. When we said we couldn't accept it, the host cancelled our booking without apology and denied doing anything wrong. It was incredibly stressful, and I wouldn't want this to be someone else's first experience of Dubrovnik. The host's morals are very questionable.

A lovely, clean place with a nice design. It's small, but has everything you'd want ❤️

The hosts were wonderful people, very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was clean, spacious, and really pleasant. I'd recommend it.
