Our room and bathroom were quite small, but the grounds were well kept, noise was minimal, and there was a terrace at the back where we could sit outside. The location was fantastic, near the bus station, old city, harbour, other bus stops, restaurants and more. The hosts were happy to answer questions, and my mother and I both wholeheartedly recommend staying here. We arrived hours before the scheduled check-in at the end of July 2023, and the owners welcomed us so kindly. They brought refreshments to the terrace and got us checked in early so we could rest. The owner’s sister looked after the room and was an incredibly kind host. I was too late to get this review posted on booking.com, but wanted to leave it here. Please thank the owner, his sister and the rest of the team for making our stay so lovely. We would have stayed longer if our flights hadn’t already been booked. Warm regards from Canada.

The location was ideal, two minutes from the park and sea, and from the bus stop for downtown. The main bus station was about 10 kin away. We spent three nights here, and the host greeted us with juice and a warm smile. She was very friendly, and the rooms and modern toilets were clean and nice. I’d definitely recommend this apartment.

The room was compact but spotless and had everything I needed, including a comfortable bed. Check-in was easy, and the building is just off the main road at port gruz, about five minutes from the ferry port. The owner was so nice: she gave me water, pointed us toward a dinner spot, let us leave our bags after check-out, and even found me a plaster for my foot. Great value too.

The couple running this place treated me like family. It’s a spare room in their apartment, fitted out nicely with a small sink, stovetop, pleasant bathroom and air conditioning. They speak functional English, though a bit of Croat or Slav would help with communication. I got a can of pivo when I arrived, and the hosts sent directions through Booking, including the restaurant across the road. Google Maps takes you to a little courtyard. Look for the door in the far right corner, go upstairs, and you’ll see Jukic apartment on the door. It felt like a homely, family stay, which suited me well. If you want a hotel, you’d probably prefer somewhere else.
