The shower room was modern and everything in it worked, and the room itself was nice, though old fashioned. But the aircon wouldn’t blow cold, an issue that previous reviews said had been around for months without being fixed. The bed creaked too, which made sleep harder. The hosts were friendly, but their English wasn’t very good. While we were out, one of the staff or family members came into the rooms without telling us. I’d recommend staying here if those problems get fixed.

The owners were so hospitable, offering us fresh orange juice and fruit from their garden. We had a great view from the balcony, and the rooms were comfortable, with an old world charm.

Jelena helped us out when parking proved difficult and found us a spot. We felt very welcome, and the terrace looks out over Dubrovnik port with an amazing view. It’s around a 25-minute walk into Dubrovnik.
