The host was lovely, waiting for us when we arrived and carrying our cases. They explained the island and places to visit for different budgets in great detail. Our room was adequate, with lovely views and a balcony. The bathroom was across the hall for our own use, and there was a shared kitchen area. The bus stop for the beautiful Old Town was right outside. We also went on an all-day sea cruise with food and drinks that visited 3 islands. I’d add that this place is better suited to solo travelers who are out all day than to people used to 4-star-plus accommodation.

After a full day exploring the old town, the sunset from here is a treat, and waking up to that view is just as good. We drove, then took the bus into the city center for 15 Kuna. There are restaurants nearby for anyone up for the walk, plus a staircase of about 500 steps down to the sea. Great place in Dubrovnik! :)

The shared kitchen worked fine, and everyone respected each guest's space in the fridge. My room had all the essentials and its own bathroom with a shower. The view is gorgeous, though the walk to the nearby shop for groceries gives you a free workout. Bring a backpack.

The host was horrible, it was freezing, and I just wanted to get out. This was easily the worst place I've ever stayed. I've never felt compelled to write a review over a bad stay before, but this one left such a bad impression that I had to warn people. If I could go back and undo one bad decision, it would be choosing this place. Just awful.

Getting around was easy, with cheap, frequent buses that run quite late. The room was spacious and clean, the bed firm but comfortable, and the view incredible. Zijo was very friendly and explained local sights, transport options, and prices. He also offered airport pickup and drop-off for 250 kuna, which came in handy.
