There are quite a lot of steps to reach the apartment, but it was peaceful and gave us a good place to rest after a full day exploring the forts. A washing machine was a welcome surprise. The air conditioner is a little loud, though we slept without turning it on. Hot water can run out quickly, so avoid long, high-pressure showers and leave about 30 minutes between showers. There's a water meter built into the tank, which may help avoid a cold surprise mid-shower. Tony and his wife were wonderful hosts in the Old Town. On our first day they brought hot pastries and fresh citrus fruit, and left homemade liquor, a couple of beers, apple juice, tea and coffee. When my wife caught a cold on Sunday and the pharmacies within the walls were shut, they personally helped me find one that was open and showed real concern for our wellbeing. Ask them anything, I'm sure they'll kindly help. I can't recommend this place more.

Tony made us feel welcome and had thoughtfully stocked the apartment with what we needed. It was clean, spacious and quiet, so we slept really well. The Old Town location was lovely, close to everything but away from the busy spots. We spent a long weekend at Studio Tony in August 2019, and would happily recommend it for a relaxing holiday. Hope we get back to Dubrovnik! Tom & Leanne

The place is spacious and clean, and well placed for most attractions, like the hole in the wall bar. It would work well for a longer stay too. Tony met us when we arrived, then we sat in his courtyard while he shared some good tips over a refreshing homemade drink. Great host.

The suite was clean, quiet and comfortable, inside the walled city and close to everything. When my husband and I stayed at Studio Tony last month during our trip to Croatia, Renatta welcomed us and pointed out sights and restaurants around town. She also showed us the garden across from our room and invited us to use it. Tony came by later with fresh fruit from a tree in the garden. They're wonderful people. You might want to buy the pass for several sites, which costs much less than paying for each one separately.

We had a glass of homemade liqueur when we arrived, and Tony's wife made delicious pancakes for us one evening. Tony was a friendly, helpful and wonderful host. The apartment was clean, spacious, well maintained and had everything we needed. It was in a quiet part of the city, with a small garden that's lovely for an evening drink or breakfast outdoors. We'd definitely come back and recommend it to others.
