We couldn’t get the Wi-Fi working, even after messaging two different numbers and searching the room for details. The amenities were very limited, and the place didn’t seem well cared for. Check-in was also a nightmare. We were standing by the road in pouring rain, unsure where the entrance was, and the place looked completely closed. We only got the check-in instructions after calling a number that was hard to find. Once inside, we found that the window wouldn’t shut and rain was coming in. They promptly moved us to another room, and the man who helped us in person was really nice. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and I wouldn’t come back. It barely feels like a hotel, more like an Airbnb with poor communication. We should have read the Google reviews before booking. A note to the host: rather than sending an automated message to sell tours or transport, why not send check-in instructions? 🙃

The check-in was frustrating and inconvenient. I received no access codes or clear instructions before arriving, and the advertised paid luggage storage was closed when I got there. I had to ask other guests to help me contact the host. Each code came only after I reached out myself, and the host wasn’t very friendly during the process. The host should send all the check-in details and codes before arrival, and make sure advertised services like luggage storage are available. That would make guests feel more welcome and avoid this hassle.

The location worked well, with local bus stops very close, plenty of good restaurants nearby, and the bus station about a 14-minute walk away. The room was very clean and had everything I needed. The air conditioning worked really well, and there was an extractor fan in the bathroom. The manager was very friendly.

A quiet place with a decent room and a cheerful atmosphere. Great for spending a few days in Dubrovnik.
