The views were amazing, and the hotel is just a short walk from the beach and some lovely restaurants. Staff were very friendly and greeted me with a smile every time. They also offer a paid dinner buffet, which I really enjoyed, with a good variety of dishes.

Lapad was a destination in itself, with far fewer crowds and plenty of good restaurants, cafes and hotels nearby for coffee, meals and sunset drinks. The hotel was about 15 minutes from the Old Town, with a local bus stopping right outside every 20 minutes. It cost 2.5 euros. We stayed for four nights and found the views spectacular. Breakfast was excellent and even included bubbly. We also had a fantastic massage at the spa and used the indoor pool and jacuzzi. Good value, great service and location. I’d highly recommend it.

The rooms were comfortable and nice, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. It’s beautifully located, with easy bus access to the Old Town. The bathroom needs updating, especially the bath, which should be easier to get in and out of.

We were happy with the service, the spa included with the stay, and our lovely sea-view room. I’d seen reviews calling the rooms dated, but we didn’t find that; the bathroom was a little old-fashioned, though that didn’t bother us. Breakfast was included for our four-night stay, and I personally wouldn’t choose all-inclusive here because the entertainment is limited. The location was the best part: Lapad beach is a two-minute walk downhill, and the bus stop at the hotel entrance gets you to the Old Town in 15 minutes for 2.50 euros. My partner and I couldn’t fault the hotel.
