Villa Four Winds IV

Ivana was a lovely host and kept sharing great tips with us. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. We had an amazing stay at this villa, right inside the historic city walls, close to Buza gate on one of the prettiest streets.

The room had plenty of space and light, nice views, and was well equipped. It was mostly quiet, though there was occasional street noise since the Old Town is active. The location is away from its busiest areas. This is a small boutique hotel with seven rooms across two old houses, and our attentive host met us and took care of us throughout the stay. Getting there takes some planning. Use the north gate into the city, which may mean walking up the small road around the walls from Pile Gate. There are lots of steps from Stradun, as is typical here, so it would be difficult for anyone with limited mobility.

Ivana was so kind and helpful, and our room had an amazing view. It was clean and cosy, with everything we needed. The location just inside the city walls was perfect, and I'd happily recommend it and come back. Those steep stairs do make it unsuitable for anyone who struggles with walking.

The easy access near one of the main entrances was the biggest plus for me, since it meant fewer stairs to climb. The service was really friendly, with tips and recommendations for exploring the city. Everything was generally clean and the bed was comfortable.
