We loved the hospitality Barbara and her family showed us. The host replied quickly to our questions and arranged a good-price taxi to the airport. It turned out her father was our driver, and he was a real gentleman. The apartment was easy to find and not far from the main gates. There were stairs, which helped keep us fit, and we walked to a beautiful nearby beach. There’s plenty to do inside and outside the old town. Our room was on the small side, as we knew, but that was fine, and the bathroom was comfortable and clean.

Barbara was so sweet and communicative during my five-night stay, and took care of everything I needed. The room was clean, and I appreciated the air conditioning and mini fridge. The hotel is easy to find and in a perfect spot, very close to Pile Gate. I hope to return to Dubrovnik, and if I do, I’ll definitely stay here again.

Travelers with luggage should know there’s no lift and the staircase is a little narrow, so getting around could be tricky. Still, if you’re planning to climb the city walls, the stairs here might feel like an easier hike. The hotel is well placed near Ploce Gate and Stradun, and Barbara was great. She gave me useful itinerary ideas and travel tips, including ferry and shuttle bus times that can be hard to find online and may change.

We loved staying here, especially being only steps from Old Town’s main attractions and restaurants. The service was friendly and helpful, and we didn’t have to climb stairs to reach the apartment, just the room. The place was clean and well kept. The room itself was quite small and cramped, though we knew that before booking and hadn’t planned to spend our time in Dubrovnik indoors. We’d definitely recommend it and stay again.

This family-run place was impeccable, and they were very helpful. My room had lovely decor, a fridge, a coffee and tea tray, and a closet. The windows kept out the street noise, and the Old Town Dubrovnik location was very nice.
