The balcony has a lovely sea view, and the bed was comfortable, which matters since I have a bad back and am picky. The air conditioning worked well, and the fridge kept everything icy cold. The bathroom is a good size, though the shower is the typically small kind you often find in Europe. Water pressure and temperature were both good, and the owners were very nice. If you're in one of the double rooms, the WiFi details are posted in the shared hall. One small thing to know: the pipes for the other room were loud enough to wake my partner. I sleep with earplugs and didn't hear them, but it may bother you. The place is a bit out of town, as others have said, and the price reflects that. Also, Google Maps may direct you from the centre up a terrible route with a million steps and an estimate of about 19 minutes. Ignore it. Head back to the pier toward the monastery, then go up the road. It might take a little longer, but it's much better if you're carrying luggage or have mobility issues. There are stairs up to the rooms too, just so you know.

The rooms were really nice and clean, and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. The only downside was being asked to keep the noise down after 10 PM, though that's completely understandable.

The rooms were good quality, with air conditioning and comfortable beds. The location was a downside for getting to Hvar centre: it takes about 20 minutes on foot along a steep road. In July, one night for two people cost 450 kn, about €60.

The owner of the guest house was warm and easy to talk to. The place is good value, with clean rooms and a washroom, plus really cool air conditioning.
