The place is in a peaceful area, unlike the center of Dubrovnik, with a shop and bus stop about a 5-minute walk away. Jelena sent me the check-in details the day before I arrived in Croatia, and she was friendly, explained the bus routes and apartment rules, showed me around, then handed over the key and wished me a good trip. My room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was simple to use and clean. The bathroom was lovely, with a really strong shower, which you don't often find. There was air conditioning too. Although the listing says €7 a day, I wasn't charged that. I was really pleased with my stay. Thanks, Jelena!

Don't book this accommodation. Our stay at Sunset Apartmanu Dubrovnik was a horror. The place was inadequate and far from everything. The review says it's 25 kilometers from the center and 30 minutes from the bus, with no shops, restaurants, or cafes nearby. We were very hungry and had to go 25 kilometers to the center to eat. There was no parking, and getting to the accommodation involved a steep climb. The only thing there was were mosquitoes, and they drank all our blood. The landlord kept peeking through the window and didn't want to talk to us. The accommodation had a well-equipped garage, despite there being no parking. I doubt they have a rental permit. We paid cash and got no receipt.

The mosquito nets on every window were a welcome touch. The shower space is tight because the washing machine is there, and air conditioning costs €7 a day. It’s clean and practical for a Dubrovnik stay, with a bus stop 5-10 minutes away.
