On a three-week trip, we booked somewhere different almost every day, and this place has been the best of them all. It’s inexpensive, perfectly clean, and run by amazing hosts. As I write this, they’re helping other guests have a barbecue on the balcony. They really go out of their way to keep guests happy. Pick this place, you won’t regret it.

We found juice, sweets, and towels waiting in the room, and the hosts were kind, very helpful, and spoke good English. The room was small but clean, smelled fresh, and was comfortable. It had two single beds pushed together rather than a double. The bathroom was just outside the room, right next to it, and small but very clean. The little house sits among greenery in a village near Plitvice Lakes. There’s a very sweet dog in the garden who clearly loves cuddles, though it’s a shame he’s kept tied up. A wonderful experience.

The horses could stay overnight in the backyard, and there was a very cute little dog in the garden. Our bed, shower, and toilet were all fine and looked neat. We also had access to a small shared balcony where we dried our things and played a game in the evening. We ate dinner at a small village restaurant. It’s a great spot for a quick visit to Plitvice Lakes.

The owner was friendly, and the rooms are roomy. House Tony offers options with a private bathroom or a shared one. The bathroom itself is on the small side, especially the shower, which has no curtain.
