The host was kind and very helpful, and Plitsvice Lakes is a convenient drive away, about 17 km. For families with young children, a fan in summer would help avoid opening the windows and risking mosquito bites. Darker blinds would also keep the early morning light from waking guests so soon.

The rooms were quiet, and the host was very kind and helpful. It’s a good base for visiting the Plitvice Lakes, with several restaurants nearby for an easy dinner. A few things could do with updating: the old doilies on the bedside tables, the bathroom soap dish, a broken towel rack, and a carpet that needs replacing. Still, the price was fair and the setting peaceful, so I’d stay here again.

The owner was very nice and helpful, and the rooms were clean with enough in them for a short stay, especially the one with a balcony. From the window and terrace there are lovely mountain views. The place is close to a busy road, but it was still quiet and peaceful. I’d recommend it as a base for trips to Plitwickie Jeziora.
