Our stay was cozy and comfortable, and the apartment was clean and well kept. It was on the courtyard side, so it stayed quiet, while the other side of the building faces a busy street. Everything we needed was there: a kitchenette with an electric stove, dishes, an electric kettle, a microwave, and a fridge. The beach is a five-minute walk away, with a supermarket nearby. The center takes about 15-20 minutes to reach on foot.
There's a bakery and an ABC nearby. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and nicely arranged, with a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. It's a bit far from the beach and uphill, but manageable.
I'd recommend booking a room on the first floor, or a ground-floor one with a balcony.
Everything is close by, and this was my sixth stay in Makarska. I'll definitely be back. The apartment was very clean, and you can tell the owner cares about her guests. I left my wallet with my documents and money behind without realizing it, and would have gone home without it, which would have been a problem. Luckily, Ms. Ljuba had started cleaning the room and quickly called our office two streets away, where one of our people managed to answer. What a lucky break. I highly recommend it. 👍
The owner was incredibly kind, and those fritule ;) The place was clean and homey, with a coffee pot and a bread basket, and it was close to the beach. I recommend it :)
