Guesthouse Aroma

There are two public beaches about a 10-minute walk away; for somewhere more secluded, you'd have to go farther. Because the hotel isn't right on the waterfront, nights are peaceful and we slept well. Our room was spacious, with a balcony and a lovely view that even included a glimpse of the sea. The hotel was clean and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There's private parking behind the hotel. If you get a space there rather than in front, you can see your car from the balcony, which is handy. At check-in, we got an €8 voucher for the bakery on the ground floor, and the pastries were delicious. For the price, we were more than pleased and would recommend staying here.

The hotel is close to the bus station, beach, Old Town, two markets, cafes, and more, so it's a reliable and convenient place to stay. My friend and I spent about two weeks ago there while on vacation in Makarska, and we had a lot of fun. It was clean and really nice, and the staff, especially at reception, were respectful and kind, always greeting us with smiles. The cafe and bakery were good too. Every morning we each got two things from the bakery for free, worth €8, and they tasted amazing. We had a lovely experience and will definitely come again. We recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, dependable hotel.

The bathroom was large and the room was clean, with supermarkets nearby. We stayed for two nights. There was enough parking, though you have to take stairs to reach the entrance. They didn't mention breakfast, but in the morning they provided bread and coffee at the bakery.

The staff were always available to help, and the rooms were clean and pleasant. The hotel is near the sea, but sits on a hill, so the walk back after a beach day gets tiring. Still, I had a good experience.
