The sea is right there, and the location is great, with cafés and food shops nearby. Just keep in mind that the path down to the sea is steep. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Rooms are clean and good, though they need some refurbishment. The facilities are very minimal: there aren't enough chairs, and the table is too small for all six guests to sit together.

Apartment Toni is well worth considering. The hosts are friendly, the apartment was clean and tidy, and its balcony looks out to sea. The kitchenette has the basics, including a fridge, stove, kettle and dishwasher, though we didn't try the dishwasher. Towels were provided too. Our car could be parked behind the house under the vines, in the shade. Stanici's beach was great: it has a beach bar with a free toilet, water sports, paid sunbeds and a free shower. Even in early August, it wasn't crowded, which we appreciated. The town is nice and has three restaurants, a grocery store and two markets, enough for what you need. For comparison, ice cream cost 10 kuna in Omiš Stanici and 13 to 15 kuna on Brač Island in Bol.

The only tiring part was the uphill walk, though I guess that's standard there. Everything was clean and neat, with air conditioning in every room and everything in its place.
