It’s clean and nice, less than a 10-minute walk from Entrance 1. To avoid walking along the road with cars passing fast, cross the pedestrian bridge to the other side of the entrance, then go through the parking lot. The host couple speak basic English and good German. We left our bags there before check-in and after checkout, which felt much safer than the park’s free storage, where almost anyone can get the key. We also had a lovely breakfast in their garten that gave us energy for all the walking. Don’t miss the neighboring Katarina restaurant for dinner. Super tasty!

The staff were friendly and even invited me for coffee when I got back from the park. It’s very close by, with free parking at the guest house and a seven-minute walk to the entrance. Rooms and breakfast are basic. Paying by credit card adds 3%.

Really friendly owners, and the location is great for Entrance 1 of plitvice national park. There’s a nice outdoor seating area too.
