Villa Four Brothers Middle Floor

The owner was easy to deal with throughout the two years between our booking and our 2022 visit, when COVID travel restrictions caused us to change our dates several times. He was fair and quick to reply, showed us around on arrival, and brought over a few more things we’d asked for the next morning. The house was absolutely spotless. We stayed in the four bedroom apartment in June 2022 and had a wonderful time. Everything worked well, including the washing machine and free Wi-Fi, and the house even has an ice maker. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The air conditioning in the bedrooms, rooms, and hallways was quiet and effective. The rooms are soundproof too, so nobody heard my dreadful cough. There’s a lovely garden with trees, plants, and jasmine where you can sit and look out at the sea. The villa is stunning, nicely decorated, and well appointed, right on the beach. We had the beach to ourselves every day during our visit, though it might get busier later in summer. A grocery shop is a three minute walk away, and there are plenty of nice beach restaurants and bars a few minutes from the house, with beautiful sunsets each evening. Halfway through our stay, a beach bar hut opened about 30 seconds away and made us cracking mojitos every afternoon. We liked being a little way from the centre of Podstrana. You can walk there, but the hotels a bit closer seemed busier. We spent most days relaxing on the beach, and an Uber to Split was cheap, under £10GBP. I’d struggle to find fault with the stay and we want to come back as soon as we can.

The beach was lovely and not crowded, and the rooms were modern and clean. I’ve stayed here this summer and in the last couple of summers too, and I’ve loved it each time. Just a really nice hotel and experience. If I could, I’d give it six stars.

The owner was really helpful, and the house had all the gear we needed, including an ice maker, blender, and plenty of pots and pans. Step out of the back gate and go just five meters, and you’re on a gorgeous beach. A beautiful place to visit, and I’d definitely recommend it and come back.

We had a really good time in the beautiful apartment, which had everything we needed. Our host was kind and caring, and the place was quiet and peaceful with a spectacular sea view.
