There are three separate rooms, each with a balcony, so there’s plenty of privacy and room for six people. With two bathrooms, a kitchenette, and the choice to eat indoors or outside, the apartments are comfortable enough for a quiet week by the sea. They’re in a calm, tree-filled compound that gives shade and keeps noise down, and the sea is an easy walk away. The pebble beaches are pleasant, the water is clean, and even beginner snorkelers can spot fish and other sea life near shore. This is good value, especially at around 800 euros a week for four people. The apartments aren’t luxurious: they date from the 1990s, look their age, and could really use maintenance. That was in line with what I expected, though. There are supermarkets nearby if you want to cook and save money, plus Novigrad, Poreč, Rovinj, and Baredine cave are all within an easy drive. If you want a reasonably priced, comfortable stay, it works well. Just don’t expect luxury.

There’s entertainment for every age, and plenty of fun things to do around here, with good food too. Just watch out for people arriving late to the kids’ shows and blocking the view of those who got there early.

The sea is beautiful, but the accommodation was really bad. It’s very old and out of date, and our apartment was run down. We even had ants and a rodent. I wouldn’t book here.

The beach is very close. That’s the only good thing I can say. There was mold in the beds, plus dead and live spiders, flies, and other bugs. The food was like chewing carpet, the cola didn’t taste like cola, and the noodles were raw.

The setting is lovely, close to the beach and shaded by lots of trees. Even in peak season, neither the property nor the beach felt overcrowded. One side of the peninsula has rocky shore with sea urchins; the other has small pebbles. Staff were friendly, though finding a parking spot can be difficult. Our room was spacious enough and well equipped, but badly needed renovation. The low price felt fair for what we got.
