Hotel Modo

Room 101 had a lovely view across the water, and the bed was really comfortable. The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of parking and an elevator. Melisa and Mirko were polite, helpful, and easy to talk to from the moment we arrived. Breakfast is included and has just about everything: eggs made to order, meat and cheese, pastries, bread, fruit, yogurt, coffee, and juice. The hotel is in a quiet spot across from the sea, with a bus stop right out front. For 2 euros, the bus takes you to the Forum and arena area for sightseeing and restaurants in about 10-12 minutes. There’s also a water park across the street with skiing and boarding, and a good restaurant nearby inside the RV campgrounds. I have pretty high standards for places to stay, and this is the best hotel we’ve found in Croatia so far. You’re going to love it!

The breakfast felt special, made individually with care, and the staff were professional and friendly throughout our visit. The manager gave us lots of useful information when we arrived. We stayed for two nights in the second week of October. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely designed with good materials. The balcony faced the water sports activities, and the room looked just like the hotel website photos. The ocean view was stunning, and we especially liked the bathtub in the bathroom. We’re planning to return to Istria in 2025 by motorcycle, and this hotel will be at the top of our list for staying in Pula.

We only stayed one night, but the staff made us feel very welcome. The rooms were okay, and breakfast was amazing. The coffee was really good too.

The balcony and view across the bay were lovely, and our room was huge, even by American standards. We had air conditioning, a comfortable bed, and good pillows. Service was great, and the food was surprisingly good. The towels were a bit rough, and the bathroom setup wasn’t ideal. It was hard to shower without splashing water everywhere, and there wasn’t any counter space.
