Plitvicka lakes are just 10 minutes away by car, or less, and the price was superb. There’s a superstore and other little shops about two minutes away, plus a small grocery store a minute away. There aren’t many restaurants nearby, which isn't a shortcoming of the apartment, but Bistro Plum is a good dinner option 5-6 minutes toward Plitvice. The area is peaceful and quiet, with free parking. Our host lives in the same building and was extremely flexible. The apartment had all the utilities we needed, including a “moka” coffee maker, fridge, freezer, and towels. The beds and couch were comfortable. It was hot during the day but mild at night, and we slept under the duvet in August. Great base for visiting Plitvice, and thanks to the host!

Plitvice is close by, and the rooms are clean, roomy, and well equipped. The steps are quite high, so it may not suit anyone with walking disabilities.

Our apartment stayed warm during winter, even with the cold outside, and the host was helpful, kind, and spoke English. It has air conditioning and a bathroom hairdryer, and is well equipped. The layout is a decent-sized bedroom with a double bed, a living area with a kitchen, two electric burners rather than induction, and a double sofa bed, plus a shower bathroom. If you're bringing appliances in Croatia, a Schuko to two-pin adapter is a good idea.

The owners were so kind and helpful, and I'd happily come back soon. Jančić Apartments are only a few kilometers from Plitvice Lakes, with spacious, welcoming rooms that were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a holiday. Highly recommended!
