Mara was a very welcoming host, and the place was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was 5* too, with homemade pancakes and donuts. It’s pet-friendly and about 15 minutes from Plitvice entrance 1. A great experience.

Being off the main road was a real plus. We could sleep with the window open without hearing traffic. The place was clean and the service felt like a 5 star hotel. Lunch was like something at an all inclusive resort!

The host was warm and friendly, and was always happy to answer questions. We found the location ideal, peaceful but still close to local attractions. The place was well-equipped with everything we needed, and very clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay.

We came to get away from the city and see the famous Plitvice Lakes, and this cozy place worked out very well. The lakes are about a 10-minute drive away. Apartment Leonarda is run by Mara, a very nice lady, and her husband. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed, plus more. Mara paid attention to every detail, and even pressed and ironed clothes better than a dry cleaner would. There wasn’t a barbecue at the apartment, but when we asked if they happened to have one, she sorted it out and provided everything we needed. That was so kind. We rested really well, and they kept checking that everything was okay. My family is very grateful for such a comfortable holiday. Everything was fine.

House Leonarda is a great base for visiting Plitvice Lakes, about 10 minutes away by car, especially if you’re aiming for the first entrance at 7am. Mara is a lovely, kind host, and arriving at 23h was no problem at all. The house is clean and cozy, with calm, green surroundings.
