There’s a market just downstairs with nearly everything you might need. The place looks nicer in the photos than it does in person, though it was okay for a one-night stay.

The location was nice.
The owner was really kind, and the room was clean. It’s a very convenient base for getting to the Plivitce Lakes, and I’d happily recommend it.
We stayed one night before going to Plitvice Lakes the next morning. The national park parking lot is about a 10-15 minute drive away. The accommodation is in a very quiet spot, though it’s far from the city center, so it suits a stay focused on relaxing in silence. Our room was spacious, tidy, and spotless, with air conditioning. The large, newly fitted bathroom had a state-of-the-art shower. There’s a kitchen for cooking or making breakfast, plus a small place to prepare tea or coffee. The owner was friendly and helpful.
It’s right by the road, so there’s no sleeping in once morning comes. The window is down at basement level, and there’s no refrigerator in the kitchen, which was a problem. Still, it was clean and fine for just one night. For the price, it’s hard to complain.
