A calm place to rest, with a market and restaurant nearby. The house was clean, and staying here made it easy for me to relax. It's about a ten-minute trip to the national park, which was fine.

We were so impressed by the Plitvice Lakes visit, and the nature there was incredible. Combined with that, our stay at House Jelena was a highlight of the holiday. This is a family-run place, and the whole family made us feel wonderfully welcome. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and fitted with new appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, and oven. Jelena, the owner, was astonishingly friendly. Her husband and her mother-in-law Dragiza deserve a mention too. My wife fell in love with the place, and we'll definitely return to see them.

We slept comfortably in the beds, and everything was exceptionally clean. The apartment is well equipped for a longer stay. We especially liked that all the kitchen dishes were the same brand and quality. We'll definitely come back. Thanks for everything 🙂

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a few days exploring the area. It's in a peaceful spot away from the road, just six kilometres from Plitvice Lakes National Park. Jelena suggested visiting Rastoke, and that turned out to be a great tip. It's a lovely village with a river and waterfalls.
