The balcony views and sunsets were amazing, and we loved the peaceful, spotless setting away from the bustle of Split and Hvar town. Torac Beach is a beautiful, secluded spot, about 50 ft away, shared only with other people staying nearby. There are restaurants and cafés close by. Bring your groceries and supplies, though, or you’ll probably have to drive to Jelsa to get them.

There’s a beautiful, clean beach just a few steps away, and every apartment has a gas grill and a full kitchen for making meals. We spent two nights at Paradise Apartments and found it peaceful and beautiful, a lovely little slice of heaven. It’s the kind of place where you really get away from everything. There aren’t any bars or restaurants within a short walk, so stop for supplies at one of the larger grocery stores in Stari Grad before arriving. It was a welcome change of pace during our travels through Croatia, after Split, Zagreb, and Dubrovnik. Highly recommended!

You’ll need a car to get around the island of Hvar and see the sights. The apartment was really nice, the beach just two minutes away, and the host was lovely and spoke perfect English.

The room was quite large, comfortable, and clean, and the host was friendly and very helpful. Everything we wanted was there, and even more. A lovely setting too, with the sea just a minute away, plus mountains and sunshine!
