It’s a quiet neighborhood, and the apartment is spacious and very clean. The owners were lovely. Shops, a bakery, and restaurants are only a few minutes away on foot. Rastoke is about 15-20 minutes away by walking, with a route back alongside the castle and river.

The village has a charming restaurant where you can eat, set among waterfalls and a lakeside landscape that’s lovely to visit. We stayed here overnight before driving to Plitvice Lakes in the morning. The room was clean, and the lady was friendly.

We got what we expected for the price, a nice, tidy place. The hosts left us to ourselves, and we did the same. We didn't talk much because of the language barrier, but everything went smoothly and there was no need to. The lakes are nearby, and Rastoke is beautiful too. I'd happily stay here again next year.

It was a shame I could only stay for one day. The place was very nice, clean, and well cared for. The Rastoke waterfalls are nearby, and Plitvice Lakes is about a 30-minute drive away.
